Had a great time in Quebec City!

Hello friends, I'm happy to be back on my Youtube Channel with some new video content! If you haven't watched it yet, please check it out on the video below. Today, I wish to talk to you about this trip. I'll explore our travels, the destinations and my favourite moments from the trip.

Our journey starts while I was having breakfast with my best friend. We had just got out of confinement. It had seemed like an eternity since I had seen him. We were very excited to see each other. During breakfast, he told us he was heading to Quebec for the weekend. I simply mentioned that my girlfriend and I had thought about going shortly too. We talked and talked and finally decided that we would go together. We found and rented an Airbnb, planned the dates and finally, we were off. On the morning of the departure, I woke up, got dressed, and I was off. I had prepared all of my things the evening prior, knowing the hour I had to wake up, haha. It had been four days of making tomato sauces, and after finishing my last jar at 3:45 AM, I was exhausted, super tired. So, at 8:00 AM I was up, and all ready to go, I put all my things in the car and went to get my girlfriend. We started our three-hour drive to Quebec City. The drive was quite pleasant, and we alternated playlists swapping from Future Bass to pop-soft Indie. At our arrival, we parked the car and took all our 17 bags half a kilometre to the apartment. The apartment was beautiful! There were two floors, two bedrooms and a quite nice kitchen, dining table, and living room. We also had a beautiful view of the old port of Quebec. after arriving, I quickly left to go and buy groceries as I was going to make a great, delicious, Spaghetti. I got back, made dinner, ate and went to bed.

It's morning, and it's time to visit Quebec. Our whole Saturday was pretty much dedicated to visiting Quebec City. We walked through Old Quebec and got some Bevor Tails (not the animal, the pastry), we also went to visit the fudge store, and my best friend dragged me to the last place I wanted to go in September, the Christmas store which never closes. after this great day, we watched a movie with some popcorn we went to buy at this great place in Old Quebec. That evening, we didn't go to bed too late because the next day was vlogging day. The next morning after a good night's sleep, we got up and started filming. Fun fact, the morning shots of the vlog were filmed just a few minutes after waking up! So we woke up, filmed as much as we could and went to our first destination of the day. Just a few days before leaving for Quebec, I met up with my aunts at their house, and they told me they were going to be in Quebec city when we would. What a coincidence! So, we were on our way to the restaurant they wanted to show us, which was all the way up the hill from our apartment. The restaurant was delicious, and we really had some fun and talked about many things. They were actually the ones who helped up decide how we would proceed with the day. After breakfast, we started our journey for the vlog. We went back to the apartment, finished packing the equipment, and we were out. We started driving towards the Saint-Anne waterfalls. After a small one hour drive, we had arrived. The falls seemed beautiful from a distance. We proceeded to the entrance, paid our tickets, and there we were, walking towards these wonderful falls. On top of the falls, I first opened up the drone and tried a couple of shots. We had a couple of propellor problems throughout, but I still managed to have all the shots I wanted. By the end of our visit, I had possibly one hour of footage, haha. The landscape was beautiful and so very relaxing. I really enjoyed there being multiple platters as we went down and also a couple of bridges to walk across the falls. I have to admit the bridges were a bit scary as they were really shaky every time someone walked on it. After this amazing trip, we had to film the opening shot in the forest with the drone. I only took us like twelve takes, and we had it! We now were off to our next destination. On our way there, we stopped on the side of a bridge to enjoy the view of the side of the island. On our quest to find the end of the island, we realized that it is sooo huge! We drove maybe an hour from one end to the other. Arrived at the end, we found an observatory point and decided to stop and go up. Arriving at the top, I have a spectacular surprise and must have said, "wow, this is beautiful!" about one hundred times, haha. Orlean's Island really offered us some spectacular views of autumn in the nearby mountains. If you wish to see more of the island, check it out in the video below! We finished off our trip to Orlean's Island in front of a theatre, and there's where the fun happened. I was taking some drone shots of the island and the landscapes and as my phone was plugged into the remote, it was as if it was charging. during a maneuver with the drone, my phone actually ran out of battery, and I lost visual of the drone. It is really small, I could barely see it, and I didn't know if it would respond to the remote without my phone. I quickly thought of clicking the return home on my drone, and to my lucky and happy surprise, IT CAME BACK! Some other fun thing that happened is well seeing my drone come down I saw a red light flashing, and as it came down, I saw that it had less than a quarter of its battery life left! So basically, I almost lost my drone, haha. After this small adventure, we went back to the apartment to have dinner and then, we were off for some night photography. That was incredible! it was such fun creating these photographs as I had never taken some with my new camera and I ended up really enjoying the night features on my camera. The whole point of this night shoot was basically to show Quebec City at night as most of the things I saw about it was always shot in the day, and I wanted to show the other side of it and how it was when no one was around. You can see the photographs lower in this post. After this nice outing, we went back to the apartment, warmed up, and went to bed because the next morning, I was waking up quite early to film some final shots before we had to leave. I woke up the next morning, took my drone and went flying around the port. when we arrived in Quebec, I had also seen a beautiful fountain I wanted to capture at some point during our trip because I felt it had a very beautiful aesthetic. after that, I went back to the apartment, packed our things drove back home and finished the vlog in my house.

Here is just a small summary of my favourite moments of the trip. The falls were magnificent, really beautiful and the smell and energy of the falls were really relaxing. Then, Orlean's Island was quite the experience, but I guess my favourite moment was being on top of the tower with my girlfriend and then the small restaurant we went to buy fries and onion rings. I really enjoyed filming the inner scene, and we also really had fun creating the photos at night. I could have stayed out taking photographs all night.

So here it is, the insights on our trip to Quebec. If you have any questions about where we went, places we should go in the future, drop us a line in the comments, and I'll be sure to check it out.
